 As Carol and I sit here in our cozy temporary living arrangements, we couldn’t help but think back over the past couple of months when we made the emotional decision to put our lovely home of the past 16 years on the market so we could “downsize”. Once we got over the fact that we would make this major lifestyle change, the absolutely best decision we made from that point was selecting you and the Long & Foster firm to represent us. What struck us the most initially was your compassion in recognizing that we were dealing with a tough emotional decision to move in the first place. You were more like a friend than a realtor, which was so important at that time. Your support was just great!

 But setting aside that aspect of our decision, your handling of the entire “marketing and selling process” was absolutely outstanding. You were so creative in all of your marketing approaches….. I just wished we could have used all of the ideas, but selling the home in 3 hours was a better alternative!! And through the whole process, your communication was just super. We always knew what was going on, and what the next steps would be. From signing the agreement to have you represent us, to the signing of the final papers at closing, we just simply couldn’t have asked for a much smoother transaction. And of course, getting 99 % of our asking price wasn’t bad either! In every sense of the word, you were a true professional.

 Over the past 34 years Carol and I have bought and sold 5 different homes, and we can honestly say that the best overall realtor experience we ever had was working with you, and for that we THANK YOU. We will make sure we stay in touch, and cannot wait to have you come visit us in our new “downsized” home!! “About two years ago, we told Bill and Nancy that we were going to eventually move to the Lehigh Valley and asked that they represent us when the time came.  We had a very specific type of property in mind with narrow parameters.  Bill and Nancy immediately  began  gathering properties for us to view and we made several trips to the area to look at houses.  They spent whole days taking us around the Valley – we had no specific area in mind so we covered quite a bit of territory, including several properties that I pulled from the internet in Berks and Lehigh Counties.  On a whim, they showed us a property which met all of our criteria but was a totally different house style from what we had imagined we wanted, but they wanted us to see it anyway.  It turned out to be the perfect property for us and we are now the proud and happy owners.  Bill and Nancy walked us through all of the steps for purchase and closing, coordinating the dates between our Hartford closing and the one in PA.   It was the smoothest transaction we have ever made.  On top of that they, along with their daughter, helped us clean during the move-in and brought lunch along.  We cannot say enough good things about our relocation and look forward to continuing our friendship with “The Real Team”.
